In a strategic move to enhance logistical efficiency and streamline operations, Hothur Ispat has developed a state-of-the-art 2.4 km railway siding facility extending from Kuditini village to the Kurugod level crossing in Bellary. This expansive infrastructure, sprawling across 100 acres, serves as a pivotal link in the transportation network, facilitating the loading and unloading of essential raw materials such as iron ore and coal, as well as the transport of finished products.

With a remarkable capacity to handle 1.5 million tons per annum, the facility can efficiently load and unload up to two rakes a day, each capable of carrying 4,000 tons. This capacity ensures a seamless and rapid flow of materials, contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain.
Beyond its primary function of loading and unloading, the railway siding offers additional facilities to manage basic raw materials effectively. Storage, stacking, crushing, screening, and weighment of iron ore and coal are seamlessly integrated into the infrastructure.
